In order to save paper, we have condensed swim lessons and pool passes to one registration form

If you are looking to get a 2010 pool pass, please fill out the registration form, 
check necessary boxes and return to the Recreation office. 

If you are looking to renew your 2009 pool pass, you will still need to fill out registration form, 
then you can bring your 2009 pool pass to the pool and they will update it with a sticker for 2010. 
Please note that you MUST fill out a new registration form which includes the pool waiver.

To register for swim lessons, please fill out registration form (one per participant), 
please include Program Name/Session/Date/Cost and return to Recreation Department.

Welcome To Keyes Pool Summer 2010

 It’s that time of year to begin thinking about summer. We hope you survived our New England winter. We are excited to have a fun-filled swimming season!

 Keyes Pool hours for summer 2010 are as follows: Monday-Thursday 12-7 PM; Friday 12-8 PM; Saturday and Sunday 11 AM-7 PM.  Sunday is float day - bring a float and enjoy yourself!

We will celebrate July 4th with relays, games, and much more!!  The pool will have FREE admission on July 4th! (Rain date: July 5th)

Staff this season includes Gretchen Dunn as Pool Operations Manager and Bonnie Cox as the Administrative Coordinator.  Lifeguarding and WSI returning staff include Meridith I, Kira L, Marisa M, Nick C, Laura B, Sarah S, Molly L, Joe M, Idolyn V, and Zackary F.

American Red Cross swim lessons will continue this year and we expect the program to grow this summer. Our WSI certified instructors will offer 4 two-week sessions, 30 minutes per class; Monday-Thursday (Friday being the rain make- up day).  Classes will run from June 28th-August 20th 10-10:30 AM, 10:45-11:15 AM and 11:30 AM-12 PM.

Fun Day for all participants from our swimming lessons and swim team will be August 20th - details later!!!!

We are now offering new hours for swimming lessons!!  We will have early evening Red Cross & Aqua Animals swimming lessons. The classes will from June 28th-August 20th 5:00-5:30 PM & 6:00-6:30 PM Monday-Thursday (Friday being the rain make-up day).

Our Aqua Animals program is designed for children ages 3-5 years and will help your child learn to swim in a small group environment with WSI certified instructors.  Aqua Animals classes are offered the same dates and times as our ARC swim lessons.   Parent and Child swim lessons are designed for children 6 months to 3 years along with their parent and run Mondays/Wednesdays 9-9:30 AM & Tuesdays/Thursdays 12:15-12:45 PM.

This year Keyes Pool includes a Synchronized Swimming program which will focus on basic movements, development of routines and conditioning swim practices.  This class is offered Tuesdays/Thursdays June 21st- August 7th from 12:15-1 PM and participants must be comfortable in deep water and submerging activities.

Milford Keyes Swim Team practices will run Monday-Friday June 21st–August 7th and a schedule of meets and times to be posted at the pool. Ages 4-19 are all welcome to join our Granite State Swimming Association Team Milford Keyes.

There are also swim programs offered for adults. Senior Water Movement is a low impact water aerobics class offered Mondays/Wednesdays starting July 12th from 12:15-12:45 PM.   Adult Fitness Swim is designed for competitive swimmers and adults looking for a work out, starting June 28th with classes offered Mondays/Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 PM and Saturdays 10-11 AM.  Our Aqua Cardio program includes easy to moderate aerobic workout using the resistance of the water, strengthening and stretching to promote flexibility, starting June 28th with classes on Mondays/Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 PM and Saturdays 10-11AM.

Pool Rules

Rules are posted for the safety and enjoyment of our patrons. Most of these rules are dictated by NH DES State Regulations and local health ordinances. Please be sure to read and review the 3 rule boards at the pool with your children & guests. Failure to follow rules may result in “time out” or restriction from pool use. Listed below are the main rules for the pool.

  • In case of rain: Call the Recreation Office 249-0625.
  • Schedule may change without notice, due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. 
    Keep an eye on the bulletin board and this web site!
  • The Recreation Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM – PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!
