Milford Conservation Commission’s 4th Saturday Hike:
Hikes are planned for the 4th Saturday of each month and begin at 9:00 a.m.    
The location of each hike is determined monthly by the Conservation Commission and details 
are made available on the Conservation Commissions website (http://conservation.milfordnh.info/) . 
Members of the Conservation Commission will be on-hand to direct the hike, 
answer questions, and provide background about Milford’s extensive trail system.  Maps of 
the trails are available on the Conservation Commissions website and at the Economic 
Development and Conservation Commission offices in Town Hall.

Contra Dancing
All Ages. Contra Dance refers to several folk dance styles, in which couples and individuals 
dance in two facing lines. Come meet new friends, no partner required, easy to learn and lots of fun! 
Coordinator Frank Woodward. Town Hall 3rd Floor Auditorium. Adult $7/Children 6-12 $3.50
No Pre-Registration necessary.

Archery Tournaments

Youth & Adult. If you love the sport of archery but aren’t a hunter, 
then a tournament is one way to test your skills. 
Individuals will compete in their age group. Prizes will be awarded. 
Pre-Registration is required for this 
event, please register early!

Co-ed Adult Softball Tourney 
& Home Run Derby

Ages 18+. 1st Annual Kaley Park Project Coed Softball Tournament & Home Run Derby. 
Come out for 2 great days of slow-pitch coed softball, Home Run Derby and BBQ! 
Proceeds will go to the Kaley Park Project. Home Run Derby open to anyone, 
additional $10 paid the day of the event. 
Entries will not be accepted after September 30th, 2010. $150 per team


Teams MUST register and pay in full by Thursday, September 30th

Fall Foliage Train Ride & Lunch

American Red Cross Babysitting Course: (ages 11-15) Great for big brothers and sisters. Milford Police Station Community Room. Pre-Registration Required. Min of 8 participants. 
This is a 1-day intensive training course. American Red Cross certification earned. 
Session 1 Sat 9/18 9am-4pm Session 2 Sat 10/16 9am-4pm Session 3 Sat 11/6 9am-4pm

Coffee Connections:   2nd Wed. every month 10am at the Milford Town Hall, Banquet Hall 
$1 donation - Each month we offer a different activity. Look for the flyer in the entrance of the Town Hall or in the Rec office.

Recreation Dept. at a discounted price of $26 per ticket and Water Country 
tickets are $29 per ticket. No blackout dates or restrictions on tickets.
